Academy Affiliation Guidelines & Standards
The Mindanao Jiu Jitsu Federation enforces strict institutional requirements modeled after the IBJJF Academy Registration Guidelines to ensure authentic martial arts lineage, athlete safety, and transparent graduation oversight across the island.
Certified Professor
Every head academy must be directed by a certified Black Belt registered in good standing with the MJJF / IBJJF. Affiliates managed by Brown Belts must operate under a signed supervision charter from a certified Black Belt.
Mat Safety & Hygiene
Facilities must feature certified shock-absorbing mats (minimum 60 square meters), commercial disinfection protocols, a dedicated first-aid station, and emergency medical contacts on display.
Safe Sport & WADA
Academies must adhere to PSC and WADA anti-doping policies. Minor students (ages 4-17) require documented parental consent and background-checked instructional staff under our Safe Sport protocol.
Promotion Authority
Student belt graduations are entered directly into the MJJF Central Registry. Belt certificates bear the joint signatures of the Head Professor and the Federation President to prevent fraudulent ranking.
Annual Academy Charter Fee: ₱5,000 / Year
Includes physical framed charter certificate, listing on the official directory, team trophy eligibility, and coach mat passes for all 2026 championships.
